What would be a good beginner Motorcycle for someone 250lbs?

I’m looking for a bike. I commute back and forth to work in and around the city. I do some highway travel on a highway that you can easily keep up pace with going 75-80 mph. 75-80 mph is all I want and need to go ever. In my car I never go more than 90 and even that’s extremely rare.

I’m looking for a good beginner cruiser that won’t kill my pocket. I have seen the Honda Rebel 250 and the comparable Suzuki Savage. There is also a Kymco 250 Venox and the Yamaha Virago 250. I’ve been reading the reviews for these bikes and I seem to be running into one small problem.

I weight 240 lbs. and I want a bike that can manage 70-80 top speed with my heavier body.

My price range is $2000-$3000 as I am not super well off.

What I wanna know is, is this possible? Can I find a bike that meets these requirements and if so, what is it?
