i have just started in automotive tech school, what do i need to buy as far tools and equipments to start ?

i just need the basic tools and maybe scanner!!

I want to become an Automotive Tech. im in high school and live in Kentucky. i dont know of any good schools?

Im worried about having to pay more money on out of state schools! any tips on schools and what steps i need to take! one day i want to own my own repair shop.
